Alan Pedersen is an award-winning speaker, songwriter and recording artist. His inspirational message and music about finding hope after loss resonate deeply with those facing grief and adversity in their lives. Since the death of his 18-year-old daughter Ashley in 2001, Alan has done concerts and speaking events in over 1,400 U.S. cities.
In addition to speaking and playing music, Alan has become one of the most recognized and respected voices in the world on grief and loss. His leadership and insight have positively impacted thousands of lives through his songs, articles he’s written, television and radio appearances and through his service. For nearly 4 years Alan successfully served as the Executive Director of the largest grief organization in the world, The Compassionate Friends.
